COMMUNITY RESOURCE ASSISTANCE

Our Community Resource Assistant works to connect those we serve with the resources they need.  This could range from VA appointments to emergency utility assistance.

WHAT WE DO....

Bag Hunger Campaign

Companies, organizations, churches and groups commit to fill a brown grocery bag with non-perishable groceries.

NEW LIFE MISSION will provide the bag and a list of needed food items.

Someone from the mission will drop off grocery bags then in about 30 days we will pick up the filled grocery bags.

At NEW LIFE MISSION, values, policies, and procedures have been established to serve everyone equally and to the best of our abilities.

Our Community Cafe serves hot meals Monday thru Thursday 12:00-1:30 and bag lunches Saturdays 12:00-1:30. Volunteers help prepare and serve the meals.

The Food Pantry supplies groceries to families and individuals. They will receive meats, canned goods, dry goods, vegetables, drink, bread and sweets.  Families or individuals are eligible to receive groceries once a month.

NEW LIFE MISSION offers community-service work to aid those needing to pay fines or court restitution, food stamps hours, family services, and student academic requirements. Throughout their time of service, volunteers and staff continue to mentor them.

The mission is active in developing business support. A variety of businesses, universities, agencies and organizations support the work of NEW LIFE MISSION with donations of food, materials, and funding. Other organizations and ministries make a network of partnerships that address today’s needs. The sharing of materials and information allows all to benefit in the fulfillment of their mission and goals.
